Intramurals: Last Chance Registration

Dear Parents and Students,

          I am writing to you in regards to the last chance opportunity to register for the 2009 Rowan Intramural program scheduled to begin the week of February 9^th, 2008. Many students have come to me asking for the information so that they may sign up for the program. At the present, we have almost 90 participants but wanted to extend this opportunity to you one more time. Please read the following exurb from the original mailing and if interested, complete the bottom of this form and return it to me as soon as possible.

         The intramural session for the 2009 school year will kickoff the week of February 9^th and run through March 23, 2009. The students will stay after school on the determined night and participate until 5:30 pm once per week. Parents are requested to pick up their children in the gymnasium so that I can see each child leave and also pass along any needed information directly to you.

          The program will consist of three sports or hockey, volleyball and basketball. Each meeting will consist of a warm-up followed by a warm up game, sport specific skill practice, sportsmanship lessons and organized game play in tournament form allowing of in game instruction. Special nights will include Parent VS. Kids games and other activities. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for the children to learn a new sport, exercise, be a part of a team and most of all enjoy physical activity in a safe and enjoyable environment in which everyone can succeed!
